Schooner Damien II, was launched in 1979.
It was designed by

KEEL, MASTILES, RIG

Most were built with pivoting keels that would allow them to enter shallower waters and have the ability to be stranded. With this option, boats built with rotating keels gave up performance, with its fixed fin keel, has much better performance and stability in ash against the wind, is a rigged schooner with short and powerful masts and rigging over dimensioned each masts has 10 ropes of steel or Rigging, Ǿ 9mm . The 2 aluminum masts of 15 mt / 50 ', of the Swiss company ESPARS NIRVANA, are stepped on deck. The main mast is staggered in the upper part of the cockpit, which is about 30 cm / 1 'higher than the bow bridge where the ratchet mast is placed, therefore she has a schooner platform (staysail schooner platform) to be precise), each mast has two floors of crossarms. It has been rigged to facilitate its handling in all sea conditions with minimal effort from the crew. The keel is shaped "fin" at the center of gravity of the boat, with a weight of 4.5 tons, which turns  into a "centerboard" helmet, and creating the conditions for the maneuvers of course change to be very soft.

SAIL
The sail available  is configured in:
Yankee Jib / Genova, with furling
Fore Staysail / Winch, with winder
Main Staysail / Estay Gavia, with roller
Main / Mainsail / Randa
Fisherman / Scandalous
The sails are in 70% of their optimal conditions, there are a total of 6 spare sails, among which there are storm sails.

AUXILIARY ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The auxiliary engine is a PERKINS DIESEL 4236-75 HP 4-cylinder aspirated, an extremely reliable engine. Connected with a box BORG WARNER VELVET DRIVE MARINE TRANSMISSION 72 SERIES / MODEL 1018 - RELATION 1.52: 1, cooled with exchanger. The box transmits its force to the propeller through a shaft with double cardan over dimensioned, this system prevents twisting of the shaft or vibrations, the final axis, Ǿ 66 mm, comes out of stern to the water through a tube, structurally welded to the hull, sealed with 4 estopera, with three rolineras 1 forward and two aft, this tube or cylinder is full in oil w 90, for the lubrication of the rolineras and, to create a liquid barrier in case of sea water intake, a dressing lubricant container.
reserve and expansion allows to visualize the status / level of the Additionally in the Perkins engine is connected a 100 amp alternator for the battery service bench in conjunction with a 50 amp alternator that only charges the two batteries of the Perkins engine.
The PERKINS 4236 engine, with a cruising speed of 6 knots, 1600 revolutions consumes 5 liters of fuel per hour.
The fuel capacity  is 1124 liters, sub divided into 4 main tanks and 2 reserve tanks; with a consumption of 5 liters / hour and a speed of 6 knots the theoretical Range is of 1348 miles.

GENRATING PLANT
A Northen Lights M673 diesel generator with a capacity of 5 KW is installed in the stern, enough to keep the air conditioning or the desalination plant in service and in general the auxiliary systems of the sailboat, in generator it has its own alternator and starting battery.

BATTERIES
The batteries installed  are 4 of 12 volts, deep-cycle, for general services, for the supply of 24 and 12-watts, 2 batteries for starting the auxiliary engine, 1 battery for starting the generator; All batteries if necessary, can be interconnected between them.
The batteries can be charged:
Atreves of the main motor, alternator of 100 Amps.
Atreves a 25-amp MASTER VOLT charger, which charges the batteries in case of electrical connection to the dock.
Atreves of the generating plant N. Lights, which then feeds the MASTER VOLT charger.
Dare solar panels 4 x 200 W / h.
Dare the wind generator of 200 W / h.
Dare the sum of solar panels and wind generator.
The system of batteries is conceived to give fruente in the start of motor and of generating plant in all situations, the system of interconnections between them is normally excluded to guarantee that there is always enough battery to start the motor or the electric plant.

SWEET WATER
The reserve of fresh water  is of 444 liters sub divided in 4 tank in stainless steel, the distribution system is dare a main collector from which a tube of rubber of high pressure is sent to each destination, osse a system point to point, each tube in the main manifold is controlled from a butterfly valve, in such a way that in a contingency the tube or line that creates a problem can be quickly excluded from service allowing the rest of the system to operate. The freshwater system can be supplied with water directly from the spring controlled by a specific pressure reducer. The entrance from the dock is controlled from a filter to prevent solids accumulating in the tanks. Hot water is available in the bathroom, dishwasher and shower, heated from a specific exchanger from the PERKINS engine, or from an instant electric heater, both very effective system. In the kitchen area there is a membrane pump for the extraction of fresh water from the tank in case of failure of the electrical system, this pump is a classic of the sailboats.

TANKS
The sub-division of the fuel and freshwater tanks in 10 total tanks is a project logic to allow each tank, if necessary, to be disincorporated and extracted from the interior of the sailboat through the cockpit locker, in addition to Allow to exclude a tank in case of breakdown or loss.

DESALINATION
She has a reverse osmosis desalination plant, with a capacity of 70 liters per hour.

WINCHE, ANCHORS, CHAINS
She has 3 anchors of DANFORTH type in galvanized steel, one of 30 Kg that is used as main anchor and 2 of 50 Kg as reserve anchor, these last stationed in a settlement dressing on the front bridge. The main one is tied to the hull by means of a ½ "chain, galvanized, with a length of 150 meters, on the boat a second chain of 3/8", of length 60 meters is available for emergency use.
The Winche is a LOFRAN CAYMAN 88, 24 volts, (https://www.imtra.com/Collateral/Documents/English-US/products/Canman_Tigres_Falkon_manual.pdf) with a widely dimensioned capacity for anchoring maneuvers.

ELECTRIC SYSTEM
She consists of a 5 KW diesel generating plant, which produces a voltage of 220 Volts, AC, this feeds an isolation transformer and generates 220/110 volt AC that feeds the internal network of the vessel. The network can be fed from an external cable from the dock, at 220 volts AC which in turn feeds the isolation transformer. A system of rilaáis avoids that a short circuit can be generated between the two feeding systems. On board is available an inverter of 1500 watts, (24V DC / 110V AC) that feeds uses of alternating current 110 volts AC, in case of emergencies, it is not currently installed because I consider that its use is an extreme necessity and implies a depletion of the onboard batteries very fast. The internal lighting system is 24 volts DC, high quality LED lights were installed in the main room, each controlled by a specific power driver that prevents the damaging voltage change by the LEDs. Some devices on the navigation table are powered by 12 Volt DC, so there is a specific 12 Volt DC system that receives its power from a specific 24V DC / 12V DC converter. The lighting network for external navigation is the specific one for the boat, white light for anchoring, navigation light and so on.

AIR CONDITIONER
In the living room is installed an air conditioning of 12,000 BTU, which directly feeds the saloon and the armatorial cabin, in condensation system is by seawater driven by a pump in 220 Volt AC, magnetic traction, the control of the temperature is by means of an electronic thermostat.
